Statistics show that the ETC lane capacity is between 1000 and 1200 cars per hour. The ETC single lane capacity is increased by more than 700 vehicles compared to the manual toll lane, and the average time delay is reduced by 58 seconds.

According to the transportation department, roadside parking electronic toll collection projects in Dongcheng District, Xicheng District and Haidian District are under construction.
Some shopping malls and office parking lots in Daxing District and Shunyi District are also expected to use ETC this year. "If you only calculate the trading time, it takes 1 second to pay with the quick pass card, and the manual charge takes about 15 to 20 seconds." Hu Bin said.

According to statistics from the transportation department, in the past six years since the implementation of ETC, the cumulative fuel consumption has been 17.28.2 million liters, and hydrocarbon (CH) compounds, carbon monoxide (CO) compounds and nitrogen oxides (NO) compounds have been reduced by 989.99 tons, 2317.15 tons and 469.87 tons, respectively.
