Japan will increase the ability of heavy oil cracking

The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan recently issued a plan to increase the ability of refinery heavy oil cracking to increase the utilization of heavy fuel oil and reduce Japan’s dependence on oil resources.

Heavy oil cracking equipment mainly includes fluidized catalytic cracking of residue, thermal cracking of residual oil, and steam cracking of residual oil. The plan proposes that currently Japan's heavy oil cracking capacity accounts for only 10.2% of its domestic crude oil atmospheric distillation capacity, which is far below the international average. Japan plans to increase this ratio to 13% by fiscal year 2013, with the ultimate goal being close to 19.5% of Western European countries, or 19.1% of Asia's advanced level.

As the conditions of various refineries are different, Japan will carry out step-by-step expansion of heavy oil crackers. For current refineries with heavy crude oil cracking capacity less than 10%, 45% or more energy expansion is required; refineries with 10%-13% heavy oil cracking capacity are required to expand energy capacity by more than 30%; and more than 13% of oil refineries have been refined. The factory requires expansion of more than 15%.

Alkyl Polyglucoside

Nonionic surfactant made from natural fatty alcohols and glucose derived from renewable plants. Superior detergency, wetting and surface active ability. High solubility in concentrated alkaline solutions and other electrolytes and will solubilize other less soluble ingredients. Good compatibility with all other types of surfactants and synergistic effects can be found. It can improve the mildness of formulations significantly. Produces rich and stable foam. non-toxic, non-irritating to skin, readily biodegradable.
