November Hyundai Motor Sales Growth in the United States

According to relevant data, in November 2012, Hyundai Motor Co. sold 53,487 vehicles in the US market, compared with 49,610 vehicles in the same period last year, an increase of 7.8% year-on-year, setting a record high for the same period of the calendar year.

Hyundai’s highest-selling model in the United States remained Sonata in November, up 12.7% year-on-year to 17,660 units, compared with 15,668 units in the same period last year; Elantra ranked second in sales, with US sales at 15,923 in November, which was 12,414 units from the same period last year. It grew 28.3%; third-ranked Santa Fe sold 6,754 vehicles, an increase of 10.2% over the same period last year.

In the first 11 months of this year, the cumulative sales of Hyundai Motor in the US market reached 643,572 units, an increase of 8.2% year-on-year, and the sales volume for the same period last year was 594,926 units.
