The Vacuum Rake Dryer(horizontal vacuum rake dryer) is used to dry powders, paste material or slurry material. It can yield powder product. As it works under low temperature and vacuum, it is very suitable for heat sensitive product.



The vacuum rake dryer is applicable to drying material of explosive, oxidizable and paste. Operating under high vacuum state, the boiling point of solvent is depressed and the air is isolated and therefore it is easy to prevent material from oxidizing and deteriorating because of overheating during drying processes.


Agitating shaft and blades are equipped in the horizontal dryer drum. The drum jacket, agitating shaft and blades can be steamed with heating medium. Under the action of agitating, the material in the drum can be thoroughly mixed and heating exchanged. The steam of solvent is discharged through vacuum outlet in the shell of drum and then goes into the condenser after cloth envelop collector. After material meets the requirements, power off the dryer. Discharge the material through discharging outlet and then drying the next batch.
Intermittent operation, round drum and dynamic and static seal make the dryer possible to have higher vacuum. According to material features, the function of polishing can be also done in the inner wall and agitator shaft to minimize the paste on the wall to assure the best heat transfer effect.
