The event was organized by the Conditional Support and Finance Bureau of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The head of the acceptance team was Academician Ye Shenghua from Tianjin University, and the expert group included representatives from the National Metrology Institute, Beijing University of Chemical Technology, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Beijing Optical Instrument Factory, and Changchun Aopu. Over 40 participants from various institutes, including the Shanghai Branch of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Institute of High Energy Physics, the Institute of Physics, the Institute of Microelectronics, and Shen Keyi, attended the meeting along with representatives from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Department of Optoelectronics.
The preliminary acceptance process involved two main stages: testing and evaluation, followed by a presentation and discussion. During the testing phase, the project leader, Zhou Weihu, presented the background and pre-test results to the experts. After reviewing the test documents, the experts conducted on-site performance tests of the femtosecond laser tracker prototypes according to the test plan and provided their feedback. In the second stage, the project leader and sub-task teams reported on their progress, and the test team shared the findings with the experts. Following on-site discussions and questions, a final preliminary acceptance decision was made.
The expert panel concluded that the project met all the requirements outlined in the task book. The prototype's technical specifications and application objectives were confirmed through third-party testing, proper organizational management, and complete documentation. All experts agreed that the project passed the preliminary acceptance and recommended that the team continue developing the prototype, focusing on miniaturization and industrialization. This will help provide advanced precision measurement technology support for China's high-tech manufacturing sector.
