Recently, Wanning City, Hainan Province, issued the “2014 Implementation Plan for the Promotion of the Betel Nut Drying Green Transformation Projectâ€.
The program pointed out that to increase financial support, arrangements for subsidy funds 28 million yuan, to stimulate the traditional betel processing households to promote the betel nut drying green transformation project enthusiasm, the total elimination of environmental pollution of the traditional smoked betel nut processing technology. The construction of reconstruction projects and the distribution of subsidies will be completed by the end of September.
The program pointed out that the "self-construction, first built after the fill" model, that is, betel nuts drying processing enterprises, farmer professional cooperatives and processing households to invest in independent construction, do not engage in package construction. After the completion of the project, the Agriculture Department of Hainan Province and the Betel Reclamation Bureau of Wanning City jointly organized the inspection. After acceptance, the Wanning Municipal Finance Bureau will allocate the subsidy funds to the betel nut drying technology transformation and processing households.
With regard to the arrangement of the use of subsidy funds, a total of 17.9 million yuan will be allocated to the betel nut drying green environmental protection project, and 9.9 million yuan will be used for the betel nut baking and drying green environmental protection project.
