Product Description
This machine is specifically designed for grinding long knives used in various industrial applications such as peeling machines, granulators, paper cutting tools, shearing blades, slicing knives, and more. It can handle knives with a maximum working length of 1500-7000mm, making it ideal for large-scale operations.
The machine features a sturdy gantry-style body constructed from high-quality steel, which has been stress-relieved to eliminate internal stresses. This ensures the structure maintains its strength and rigidity without deformation. The steel thickness is 10 or 12mm, providing excellent durability.
The grinding head is equipped with a dedicated motor that allows for precise axial gap adjustment, ensuring smooth operation and long service life. The vertical movement of the grinding head is controlled by a ball screw mechanism, guaranteeing high precision during the grinding process.
The worktable uses an electromagnetic chuck for secure clamping of knives, and the angle can be easily adjusted using a worm gear system. The linear guides are made by TAIWAN HIWIN, ensuring smooth and stable horizontal movement of the grinding head.
An inverter is used to control the speed of the grinding head, allowing for easy adjustment of both horizontal and vertical speeds. This makes the machine suitable for both fine and rough grinding tasks. The machine offers a high level of accuracy, up to 0.01mm.
