The roller shell, commonly known as the roller, is a critical component in a pellet mill, used for producing various types of biomass fuel granules, animal feed pellets, and more. It is constructed from wear-resistant alloy steel with carburization heat treatment, ensuring consistent hardness and extended durability. The roller shells come in three main types: tooth-through, tooth-no-through, and pass type. Components like the inner eccentric shaft are precisely manufactured, enabling users to adjust the gap between the roller and ring die based on their specific production requirements. Additionally, these parts are designed for easy installation and replacement.

Important Notes
1. Select the appropriate die hole compression ratio.
2. Adjust the working clearance between the ring die and roller within 0.1–0.3 mm. After starting the new pellet mill, the roller will be driven by the ring die but not rotate initially.
3. New ring dies should be paired with new rollers. The roller connection should be loose at the front and tight at the back. If sharp corners appear on both sides of the roller, use a hand grinder to blunt the flange part for better alignment.
4. Before feeding raw materials into the pellet mill, perform cleaning and magnetic separation to reduce iron impurities. Regularly check the die holes for blockages and clean them if necessary.
5. If plastic deformation occurs in the ring die's guiding cone hole, causing it to shrink, repair it immediately. During repairs, ensure the lowest height of the ring die's inner surface is 2mm higher than the bottom of the overtravel groove. Also, ensure proper eccentric shaft adjustment; otherwise, the ring die may need to be scrapped.
