Recently, the Iveco Turin V gasoline engine commercial vehicle made its debut. According to reports, this model is primarily targeted at 10 to 13-seat vehicles and comes with a gasoline engine, matching the price range of diesel models, which are priced between 150,000 and 160,000 yuan. The first batch of these vehicles will be available in major cities such as Beijing, Tianjin, Shandong, Jiangsu, Shanghai, Zhejiang, and Guangdong.
Nanjing Iveco has long been known for equipping its vehicles with the world-renowned Sophie diesel engine, which has earned a loyal user base of over 180,000 nationwide. Its strong performance and reliability have been widely praised by users. However, in order to offer more diverse options, Nanjing Iveco has introduced a gasoline engine version for the Turin V series—making it the first in the Iveco global lineup to do so. The company conducted rigorous testing to ensure optimal compatibility between the engine and the vehicle, aiming to provide a competitive alternative to diesel engines.
In addition, the Turin V stands out among similar domestic models due to its spacious interior and the unique advantage of being powered by a gasoline engine. This makes it an attractive option for both government agencies, enterprises, and even private consumers.
According to the head of the product R&D department at Nanjing Iveco, the Turin V series represents a broad and versatile product line with a wide range of applications. Since its launch in March this year, the Turin V has seen continuous model introductions each month.
