·The charging service information exchange standard pilot started in North, Shanghai and Shenzhen in July

On July 8, the "Starting Meeting of the Pilot Work of Information Exchange Standards for Electric Vehicle Charging Services" organized by the China Electricity Council was held in Beijing.

The meeting was hosted by Liu Yongdong, deputy director of the China Electricity Council, and issued important instructions on the pilot objectives and implementation plans for the information exchange standard. Liu Yongdong said: "The China Electricity Council should speed up the formulation of charging information exchange standards and carry out standard pilots. The local energy administrative departments should take the lead in promoting the interconnection and interworking of charging services in the region, and organize charging service operators to implement the series of standards for information exchange. Improve the construction of the charging service platform, comprehensively implement the national strategy of developing new energy vehicles and charging infrastructure, and help China's new energy vehicle market to flourish.” He also revealed that the China Electricity Council actively responded to the requirements of the National Energy Administration from last November. Beginning to organize the formulation of the charging information interconnection protocol standard. After half a year of research and discussion, the standard pilot implementation work was officially launched in July.

It is reported that the attendees of this conference include China Charging Infrastructure Construction Promotion Alliance, State Grid, Putian New Energy, Qingdao Special Call, Wanbang New Energy, etc. Experts on “how to effectively integrate charging service platform information of different enterprises and different cities” The issue of resources and facilitating the interconnection of different charging service platforms was discussed. The participants agreed that the current electric vehicle and charging infrastructure still have problems such as charging interface and communication protocol standards are not strict, the information of the public charging facility is incomplete, the charging service platform information is not connected to each other, and the charging and charging of the owner is inconvenient. It is extremely urgent to implement the charging service interconnection standard as soon as possible.

Therefore, in order to promote the coordinated development of electric vehicles and charging infrastructure, three levels of requirements should be fulfilled:
1. The physical interface of the charging service and the interconnection of the communication protocol;
2. Information interconnection and intercommunication of charging services, realizing the location of charging facilities, and other information sharing across platforms;
3, the payment service interconnection of the charging service, to achieve the user needs to cross the trading platform, cross-operator charging slow tour.

In order to implement the National “Guiding Opinions on Accelerating the Construction of Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure”, the work of charging infrastructure information services interconnection and payment interconnection will be promoted. The participating experts reached a consensus on the work objectives and implementation plans. The standards will be Beijing, Shanghai, and Shenzhen as pilot areas. At the same time, three groups of coordination working groups, technology research and development groups, and implementation coordination groups will be established to jointly promote standards and test and landing as soon as possible.
