Yesterday, it was learned from the relevant departments of Yunfu City that China Guangdong Nuclear Power was preparing to invest 1.15 billion yuan in the city to build two wind farms, and the amount of electricity on the grid after reaching production could reach 170 million KWh.
According to reports, China Guangdong Nuclear Power Yunfu Wind Power Project will build wind farms at Yaposhan Mountain and Xinluodong Town Tianlu Mountain in Longwan Town, Luoding City. Luoding and emerging wind farms are scheduled to be completed and put into operation in December 2011 and June 2012, respectively.
At present, the Yunfu Wind Power Project has been listed as a major provincial project, and has obtained the project development roads issued by the Provincial Development and Reform Commission.
