April 8, 2020 – Flyability is launching a series of webinars focused on indoor drones, featuring industry leaders like DJI and Pix4D, inspection experts from API and ASME, and drone program developers from major companies such as Chevron and Cargill.

Due to the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, Flyability had to cancel its first U.S. User Conference in March. Instead of postponing, the company transformed the event into a webinar series. The first session kicks off this Thursday, April 9, with a presentation on the future of drone inspections and will continue through May.

The original 2020 User Conference in Denver, CO, was set to feature an impressive lineup of speakers, including representatives from major drone manufacturers like DJI and Pix4D, standards organizations such as the American Petroleum Institute (API) and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), and professionals from large corporations like Cargill and Chevron. Flyability is thrilled to share that these speakers have agreed to present their talks virtually, keeping the conversation going during these challenging times.

"Through this webinar series, we're excited to share key insights from four years of deploying drones for dangerous indoor inspections," says Patrick Thévoz, co-founder and CEO of Flyability. "We were the pioneers in indoor drone inspection. The market is still growing, and we’re eager to highlight the experiences of our customers who have scaled up their operations, reduced risks, and achieved significant cost savings."

The first webinar will take place on Thursday, April 9 at 10:30 A.M. EST, featuring experts from both API and ASME. This session will explore how drone technology is expanding its applications in the inspection space.

"These webinars are a great opportunity to learn from industry leaders and gain valuable insights," says Johan Mlouka, Managing Director of Flyability Americas. "They also provide a platform to discuss how indoor drones can keep workers safer while helping companies streamline their inspection processes."
