Magna and Audi collaborate on the development of the QUATTRO ULTRA four-wheel drive system

As the world's leading independent supplier of automotive four-wheel drive / full drive systems, Magna International announced that it is a research and development partner of Audi's new quattro ultra four-wheel drive system. The new generation of four-wheel drive system was officially launched in 2016 and is deployed in the Audi A4 allroad model to provide optimum drive performance and driving stability while achieving fuel economy.
Magna Flex4TM four-wheel drive technology lays the foundation for the quattro ultra system. Developed by Magna and Audi, the system is suitable for vehicles with vertical engines and dual clutch/manual transmissions.
The industry's first technology enables a true four-wheel drive disconnect system that automatically starts four-wheel drive on demand when necessary, and typically only needs 20% of the time to turn on four-wheel drive mode during the entire journey.
If four-wheel drive is not required during driving, the rear axle is completely disconnected from the drive train, which means that the vehicle is only driven by the front wheels. This truly disconnected system surpasses all other systems on the market today, reducing friction and transmission losses, resulting in improved fuel efficiency and reduced emissions. Compared to the full-time four-wheel drive system, this four-wheel drive disconnect system solution is lighter in weight and thus further improves fuel efficiency.
He Shijie, president of Magna International's powertrain division, said: "The quattro ultra technology is the result of advanced engineering technology and the result of a collaborative effort between Magna and its key customer Audi. We have developed this innovative system. Allowing consumers to feel the driving pleasure while significantly reducing carbon emissions and driving safety, helped Audi set a new standard for four-wheel drive technology."
The new quattro ultra system delivers impressive performance in driving dynamics while optimizing the mechanical efficiency of the powertrain. For example, when the road surface is smooth or there are many corners, the system can increase the traction force according to the driving conditions or road conditions, and connect the rear wheel drive to maximize driving stability and ensure driving safety.
The Quattro ultra differs from the traditional adaptive system in that the rear-wheel drive does not react after a loss of traction, but instead reacts actively and has a half-second lead time before the reaction. This means that the system can predict the need to enhance traction before increasing traction, and then automatically switch from front-wheel drive to four-wheel drive mode. Depending on the road conditions, the system will adjust the power output of each wheel between the front and rear axles, which will help improve vehicle handling, ensure driving performance and precise driving.
Audi uses electronic sensors and highly independent controls to achieve this predictive control. The electronic four-wheel drive management system is networked with several other control devices. These devices are capable of collecting and evaluating large amounts of data such as steering angle, coefficient of friction, lateral and longitudinal acceleration, and motor torque every ten milliseconds. This sophisticated control system also incorporates personal driving style, electronic stability control status, selected drivers ("drive mode selection"), and trailer identification.
The multi-disc clutch integrated in the rear axle drive enables switching between the front and all drive modes. In the pre-drive mode, the clutch opens, disconnecting the drive shaft and rear axle drive, reducing transmission and friction losses. The multi-disc clutch closes and accelerates the other components of the drive to the coupled rotational speed before coupling occurs, switching to all-wheel drive mode. The extremely high control accuracy allows these switching to be carried out with the driver's unnoticed fluency.

For the meat marinating solution we refer to meat tenderizer, Saline mixer, Saline injector(brine injection systems), vacuum massage tumbler.
Saline injector can evenly inject the brine and salt auxiliary materials into the meat blocks, which can shorten the pickling time and greatly enhance the taste and yield of the meat products. The machine can be adjusted with stepping rate, stepping distance, injecting interval and injection pressure according to the technological requirements. Then the brine and salt auxiliary materials can be injected into the meat evenly and continually to reach the optimal effects.

While vacuum tumbler makes meat rolled in the drum under vacuum condition, similar to pulmonary respiration (make product to inflation and shrink alternatively). It makes meat salted evenly, increases the adhesive quality and taste and ensures the freshness of meat.
