Still and Box Alarm fire in Chicago, 7-6-22

This just came in from Chi-Town Fire Photos: Around midday today, we caught sight of a thick plume of smoke and traced it to a fully involved three-story residential building under construction at 910 N Wood Street, which also affected the neighboring property at 912 N Wood. According to initial reports, this house was in the process of being insulated with spray foam at the time of the fire. Upon arrival, Engine 30 immediately deployed its deck gun towards the front of the structure, while Engine 14 moved into position via the alley to cover the rear. A total of six handlines were utilized, including the two deck guns. The intense fire quickly spread to the attic area of the adjacent building to the north. The Chicago Fire Department responded swiftly and efficiently, bringing the blaze under control in relatively short order. Their efforts were commendable. Here are some images from the scene.
