Wujiang Jiangsu new fabric length measuring instrument calibration device successfully developed

[China Instrument Network Instrument R&D] Recently, an electronic fabric length measuring instrument calibration device (hereinafter referred to as a length measuring instrument calibration device) led by the Wujiang District Measurement and Testing Institute entered the prototype debugging stage. The device overcomes the difficulty of calibration of technical indicators such as display error of fabric length measuring instrument (code table) in the domestic textile industry.


Electronic fabric length control instrument is widely used in the production and operation of the textile, printing and dyeing industries. It is used to measure the length of fabrics and other products. It is used as the quantitative basis for the internal circulation of enterprises and the length of external trade settlement. It is accurate. Degrees, stability, etc. directly affect the interests of both parties.

On October 1, 2015, the Technical Specification for Calibrating Textile Length Measuring Instruments in the Textile Industry, led by the Wujiang District Metrology Institute, was formally implemented by JJF (Textiles) 066-2015 "Electronic Fabric Length Measuring Instrument Calibration Specification." During the implementation process, for the disadvantages of separate measurement of sensors and displays in the specification, the accuracy of calibration is not easy to control. Wujiang District Institute of Metrology and Dandong Xinke Instrument Co., Ltd. combine the actual use of fabric length measuring instrument (code table) , Technical innovations and innovations were made in the main calibration equipment used for calibration, and length measuring instrument calibration equipment was developed to measure the length measuring instrument sensors and displays in an integrated system, which effectively controlled the calibration accuracy and solved the textile length measurement instrument in the domestic textile industry. (Code table) Errors such as indication error and other technical indicators are not easy to calibrate, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of traceability of fabric length and value.

"Electronic fabric length control instrument calibration specification" is the first calibration standard drawn up by Wujiang Metrology and Testing, which fills the gap in the calibration technical specifications of textile length gauges in China's textile industry, and enables uniform calibration of fabric length measuring instruments in the industry. The method has effectively ensured the accuracy and reliability of the length and value transmission of textile fabrics in the textile industry.

The research and development of the device is mainly divided into three phases. The prototype debugging, data acquisition and analysis phases have been basically completed. The Wujiang District Metrology Institute will perfect the appearance and internal structure of the prototype, and it is expected that by the end of 2016, it will apply for a patent and put it into the market.
