According to the report, in the first quarter, the import of automobiles in the province still maintained rapid growth, and the number of imported motor vehicles in the province was 200,000. Imported small and micro passenger cars account for 98.62% of the total number of imported motor vehicles, which is the main body of imported motor vehicles.
According to the report, from the distribution of motor vehicles, the number of motor vehicles in Tangshan and Handan City exceeded 1.5 million, and the number of motor vehicles in Zhangzhou and Langfang exceeded 1 million. Among them, the number of motor vehicles in Shijiazhuang and Baoding is more than 2 million, and the number of motor vehicles in Shijiazhuang ranks first in the province.
On the same day, the Traffic Management Bureau of the Hebei Provincial Public Security Bureau revealed that as of the end of March 2015, the average inspection rate of key vehicles in the province (including large and medium-sized highway passenger transport, large and medium-sized tourist passenger transport, heavy medium and medium-sized trucks, dangerous goods transport vehicles, school buses, and vans) was 89.08%. Among them, the inspection rate of large and medium-sized tourist buses is 91.52%, and the inspection rate of school buses is 90.38%.
Hebei police said that regular inspections of motor vehicles are the basis for ensuring vehicle safety. According to the law, the traffic control department will not handle motor vehicle related business for vehicles that have not been inspected for overdue, and all vehicles that have not been inspected for three consecutive inspection cycles will be cancelled. The traffic control department will collect key vehicle information that has not been inspected and overdue every month, establish a ledger, record vehicle information into the road inspection and control system, promptly alert and intercept unchecked vehicles, and impose penalties according to law. The local public security traffic control departments will also establish a joint logistics mechanism with the transportation management department to visit the enterprises and units that are overdue vehicles, issue rectification notices, educate relevant responsible persons, and order large and medium-sized passenger and cargo vehicles that have not been inspected for overdue.
