Secondly, the lightning protection device needs to be connected in parallel or in series between the protection device and the signal channel; in addition, the input terminal (IN) of the signal lightning protection device is connected to the signal channel, and the output terminal (OUT) is connected to the protected device and installed close to the protected device, and cannot be reversed. Then, connect the grounding wire of the lightning arrester to the grounding bar of the lightning protection system. The shorter the wiring, the better, not more than 1m.
6. Shielding measures should be done well
This may be a point that is often overlooked. The LAN and telephone lines in the equipment room are not shielded (ie, there is no metal trunking), and there are certain deficiencies. Therefore, the metal line slot is added to each line of the equipment room to shield the telephone and the network line, and the equipotential grounding at both ends of the metal line slot can effectively prevent the lightning surge.
