Subject: House Fire Incident on Deer View Ct., Gurnee
Hi everyone,
This is something I just came across while driving through the area earlier today. It happened at around 36000 block of Deer View Court in Gurnee. From what I could see, it looked like an external fire incident that primarily affected the vinyl siding of the house. Unfortunately, it managed to spread a bit into both the garage and the interior of the house as well.
Attached are some photos I took right after the incident. These were all taken by me—Jeff Rudolph—and they capture the aftermath pretty clearly.

The first image shows the extent of damage to the exterior, particularly the burnt siding and some visible scorch marks. The second photo highlights how the fire affected part of the garage area, which is evident from the charred wooden beams and debris. The third image gives a broader view of the scene, showing the surrounding houses and the general layout of the property. Lastly, the fourth and fifth images zoom in on specific areas where the fire damage was most apparent.
I’m not sure about the current status of the homeowners or if there were any injuries, but it’s definitely a sobering sight. If anyone knows more details or has updates, feel free to share.
