On December 7, 2017, the award ceremony and executive sharing meeting of the special award-winning Cummins- Lin Wei Yeh Scholarship Program was held at the Automotive Research Institute of Tsinghua University. It was from Tsinghua University, Tianjin University, Beijing Institute of Technology and Beijing University of Science and Technology. More than 90 students and leaders from the Engineering Department of Tsinghua University and Cummins China representatives attended the event. This year, a total of 36 female undergraduates in the Engineering Department received the scholarship.

Zhao Ting, from the Human Resources Department of Cummins, conducted an in-depth discussion with teachers and students on the topic of “Multi-Inclusive Environment to Inspire Professional Development Potential” for workplace topics of interest to students. She introduced the career development plan under multiculturalism to the participating teachers and students, as well as Cummings' diversification measures. To commemorate the late Cummins deputy president and the authoritative Dr. Lin Weiyi of Chinese-American combustion engineering, Cummins has set up Dr. Lin Weiyi’s doctoral scholarship in China’s leading engineering and technology universities since 2004, opening a training program for female engineering talents.
