A still and box alarm fire occurred in the 18th Battalion area of Chicago on Sunday morning, December 15th. The fire was reported at 4441 W. Monroe Street, located in a vacant two-story ordinary building. Despite being unoccupied, the fire quickly spread into the cockloft, prompting firefighters to stretch a line to the roof in order to fully extinguish the flames.
