Electromagnetic flowmeter selection and selection criteria

1, accuracy level
Flowmeters within the specified flow range accuracy level, the maximum allowable error shall comply with the provisions of Table 1. Flowmeter error indicates the use of relative indication error.
2, citation error
Reference error can also be used for flowmeter error indication used for instantaneous flow indication. The maximum allowable error series should meet the requirements in Table 1. The accuracy of the test results is no longer given in the bid, and its maximum allowable error is used, and FS should also be marked after the maximum allowable error, such as ±0.5%FS.
3, error representation method and selection principle
In one test of a flowmeter, the flowmeter error representation method should be given in terms of one of the accuracy level and citation error; for a flowmeter that uses the relative indication error and citation error combination to represent the error, in one verification. A method should also be used uniformly to indicate its error.
4, repeatability
The repeatability of the flowmeter must not exceed 1/3 of the absolute value of the maximum allowable error specified by the corresponding accuracy level.
Electromagnetic flowmeter selection instructions:
1, flow, according to the maximum flow to determine the choice of how much the flow of the scale flowmeter.
2. Determine the caliber of the flowmeter according to the flow and size of the industrial pipe. Generally choose the flow meter that is consistent with the pipeline.
3. Select the lining of the flow meter according to the characteristics of the measured medium. For example, temperature, corrosiveness, negative pressure in the pipeline, etc. General linings include PTFE, soft rubber, hard rubber, PFA, ceramics, and more.
4. Select the material of the measuring electrode according to the characteristics of the medium. There are 304, 316, Hastelloy, titanium, tantalum, and so on.
5. Select the pressure rating of the flanges on both sides depending on the pressure rating of the process piping.
6, select the protection level, if the sensor is under water, need to choose IP68.

2. What types of outputs are required, 4-20 mA signals, Hart, Profibus PA, FF, and so on.
