·Dongfeng Honda Automobile Co., Ltd. recalled some of Ailio and Platinum

Recently, Dongfeng Honda Automobile Co., Ltd. filed a recall plan with the AQSIQ according to the requirements of the Regulations on the Management of Defective Automobile Product Recall and the Implementation Measures for the Management of Defective Automobile Product Recall, and decided to start from March 1, 2018. A total of 25,583 vehicles were recalled from Aili and Platinum, as follows:

(1) A total of 15,748 ELYSION vehicles produced between April 19, 2012 and August 26, 2013;

(II) The 2013 SPIRIOR cars produced between May 16, 2012 and October 23, 2013, totaled 9,735 vehicles.

The passenger-side front airbag of the vehicle in this recall range is equipped with an ammonium nitrate gas generator without a desiccant produced by Takada. When the airbag is deployed, the gas generator of the airbag may be abnormally damaged, causing debris to fly out and injuring the inside of the vehicle, posing a safety hazard. Dongfeng Honda Automobile Co., Ltd. will replace the passenger side front airbag gas generator for vehicles within the recall range to eliminate safety hazards.

Dongfeng Honda Automobile Co., Ltd. will send the "Defective Car Product Recall Notice" to the owner of the target by means of a registered letter, etc. The special sales service shop of Dongfeng Honda Automobile Co., Ltd. will notify the owner of the target by SMS or telephone.
