According to reports, Yuchai’s operating income soared from more than 10 billion yuan at the beginning of the 11th Five-Year Plan period to over 400 billion yuan in 2011, equivalent to five Yuchai rebuilt in five years. Junping said Yuchai’s rapid development is closely related to the significant achievements made in the construction of corporate culture. Yuchai has already clearly realized that international competition has changed from "competitive force" to "economic competition", and enterprise competition has shifted from "product competition" to "cultural competition."

It is understood that in 2005, Yuchai started a new round of corporate culture construction. After one year of exploration and summary, in 2006, it put forward the core concept of “green development, harmonious and win-win” corporate culture, which began to be purposeful and organized. Raising the corporate culture at this stage has brought Yuchai a broader development perspective.
