The complete models, superior performance, and multi-functionality are the most prominent features. In the world, there are more than 20 famous enterprises that specialize in mass production of small excavators, mainly in developed regions such as Japan, the United States, and Europe. Among them, Komatsu, Kubota, Ishikawa, Yanmar, Case, Bobcat, Atlas are in the forefront. Si, Hyundai, Doosan and other companies.

Local mini-excavator manufacturers mainly include Sany Heavy Machinery, Yuchai, Shanhe Intelligent, Foton Lovol, Mountain Rebuilding and Liugong, etc. After years of hard work, the local brand market share has gradually expanded. According to statistics from China Construction Machinery Business Network, from January to October 2011, China's local small-digging production enterprises accounted for more than 50% of the market share, reaching 51.49%. Sany Heavy Machinery ranked first with 7046 small digging sales, with a small market share of 12.07%; Yuchai's market share was 9.83%, ranking third. Although local suppliers have advantages in terms of price and cost, and their market share is steadily rising, the level of technology, quality, and reliability are uneven. Only a few companies have close to the international advanced level in terms of quality and technology, which is mainly domestic. The system construction of some enterprises is relatively backward.
