Continental Tire Increases US Mid-Range Truck Tire Prices Again

Continental Tire Americas recently announced that it plans to increase the price of medium-sized truck tires for the Ma Brand, General and Ameristeel brands. The price increase will take effect from January 1, 2011, with an increase of up to 8%.

A mainland spokesperson said: "Since natural rubber and other raw materials and energy costs have continued to rise, tire prices have also risen. The truck tire price increase plan is only aimed at the US replacement tire market."

Not long ago, the United States in the United States increased the prices of all passenger car and light truck tires for brands such as horses and generals by up to 6.5%, and the price increase took effect from January 1, 2011.

The price increase is the third time in 2010 that the mainland US truck tire prices have been raised. The mainland conducted two price increases on February 1st and June 1st, 2010, and the maximum price increases reached 8% and 7% respectively.
